Grand Opening Gala
October 1st 2 - 6 PM
We are excited and proud to open our doors to our community for the first time. Families, educators and curious neighbors and everyone in the community are all invited to attend our Grand Opening Gala on October 1st from 2-6pm.
We invite you to take a tour of our newly renovated and architecturally-designed school building, fully furnished with beautiful Montessori materials, just waiting for children to fill its corners with their important work.
We will have a visit by the St. Paul Firetruck, a puppet-making station taught by Carol Lonning, face-painting by Sarah Endsley, a Bouncy Castle for exercising those gross motor skills, and free food and drinks for all attending families!
Come listen to live music from local musicians Aaron Lockridge on ukele, Lucy Michell, and Chris Koza and Peter Sieve (of the band Rogue Valley). Support our local talent while supporting our brand new school! CD sales and merchandise will be available.
One Ukele – 2:15PM
Lucy Michell – 4:00PM
Chris Koza – 5:00PM
Enjoy some tasty FREE food and drinks donated by our favorite local vendors: Lunds, Subway, Davanni’s, Mississippi Market, Cossetta’s, Cub Foods, Nina’s Coffee Cafe, and the Great Harvest Bread Co. in St. Paul. In honor of the fall season we will also have hot cider and apples for your enjoyment.
Don’t forget to check out our Silent Auction with a slew of fabulous gifts and gift packages from vendors like the Ordway Theatre, Blooma Yoga, Cafe Latte, and a custom-made package titled “Montessori in the Home” lovingly made by the faculty of Cathedral Hill Montessori School.
Cathedral Hill Montessori t-shirts, books totes and lunch bags will be offered for sale. We hope you will support our school with participation in our silent auction, a purchase of our school merchandise or a donation to our mission of bringing quality Montessori education to our community.
We hope you enjoy our terrific event! Come celebrate the opening of a beautiful new Montessori school in your community. Be a part of our unique school history.
